How to become a member of the NEAC

Becoming a NEAC Member

First, please submit work to an Annual Open Exhibition. This takes place in November at the Mall Galleries, London. The send-in days are in early October Generally a prospective candidate will show for a few years, during which time the work will become familiar to members.

The prospective candidate must obtain the support of 5 members who will sign the Candidates' Book. When work is submitted to the Annual Open Exhibition, if at least one work is chosen, he or she will become a candidate, and will be invited to submit more works at the time of the election (after the Exhibition), to make a total of six works. Supporting material and sketchbooks should also be submitted.

The candidate's name will then go before the membership, and an election will take place.
